A previous discussion with a photo shows a Hong Kong label at the tack:Weren't those Anniversary sails with all the fish on them made in Sri Lanka?
That is a different sail from the late 80s. The anniversary sail is from 2013.A previous discussion with a photo shows a Hong Kong label at the tack:

Nice boat name! I assume your name is Dawn or are you a Star Wars fan? Wonder how many will catch the Star Wars reference? Clever!I’m not a posed to a little adventure.
I enjoy Star Wars as much as the next person, but I was unaware that They have a crimson dawn. With my name, a red boat and a red head Crimson Dawn just made sense.Nice boat name! I assume your name is Dawn or are you a Star Wars fan? Wonder how many will catch the Star Wars reference? Clever!
Varnish—only...West is the most expensive but usually best in many ways. Watch building up your dagger board too thick. I'll let others suggest their favorite snake oil. That said, different strokes for different applications...
There are two major types of "late" Sunfish rudder components, and both can be found at eBay. (Check daily).Wow, I didn’t even notice that hole until you pointed it out. I’m thinking since I’m going to have to cut holes in her to dry her out I might as well convert to the new rudder style. I’m going to call her Crimson Dawn. I’m in the Knoxville TN aria and as for sunfish klasse that’s just the resource I found when trying to figure out her age.
Agree with no glassing. But although the angle of the pic isnt good for seeing it, it looks like the leading edge needs to be much more foil-shaped. Right now it looks half-round. If that is the case, you should re do it with a 2 inch taper. You’ll get better performance that way. Trailing edge should taper too. 1 or 1.5 inches would be good and it should taper to a nearly sharp trailing edge.View attachment 32387
Just needs glassed. I’ve heard good things about west systems fiberglass does anyone have experience with it. What would you guys recommend for both fixing the hull and glassing over wood.
A similar, but less desirable, board is known as the "Shadow" board., I'd suggest swapping over to the new style rudder. And plan on spending 300 or so for used parts, available from sellers here or on ebay.
For your daggerboard, you can go period correct Spoon Tip or choose a newer version, we recommend the Barrington.
