Just purchased my 73 Laser which came with a jury rig non-standard piece of crap vang. I purchased a new standard complete vang kit with line.. and now need to refresh my memory on how it gets rigged up ... ie, how the line goes through it... Any assistance appreciated... Thanks

Is it possible/safe to use very low pressure air to leak test a laser hull by pressurizing the hull void... this would enable using the ol soap bubble test on the outside seams. It seems this would be a lot easier than drilling access plates all over and hunting for water inside the hull.

Hmm.. there isn't anything resembling an 'auto' anything .. in fact, in the bilge photo, what you are seeing through the drain is the ground underneath the boat.... nothing there at all!!!

I have a 73 Laser missing the plugs for the bilge and hull void (photos attached). Are these available, and are they a specific type? The hull fitting seems pretty worn, I'm wondering if the fitting should be replaced and if that's available. Also, the bilge hole doesn't even seem to have...

My new (slightly used) 73 laser is missing the lower swivel connection which hooks the lower block of the standard vang rig to the bottom of the mast. Where might I find this part, and what is it "really" called? Thanks!
