Hi! I want to replace ALL the screws on my Sunfish since I will be fiber-glassing and gel-coating my mid 60's Sunfish. Types, size, material, and placement ? does anyone have a guide?

Still more to come...Okay, I wanna see pics to back that claim, LOL... CHEERS!!!
Wait!P.S. Maybe the fact that I have a NAMED mixing bowl will offset L&VW's HOARDING CRED, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Edit: Hey, "The Man" is also GREAT for marinating large quantities of meat for the BBQ, LOL... when I grill, I cover the grill, 10-4? Because I like leftovers, and anything less seems like a waste of space, cooking fuel, etc. Gotta cover the grill with meat, hot peppers, onions, sweet peppers, etc.
I find this very hard to believe...Actually, I don't drink ANY coffee nowadays...
I do have a modest hardware hoard, but I live a couple of miles away from the world's best hardware store ("If they don't have it, you're doing it wrong!") so I mostly just buy what I need as I need it.Meh, here's the evidence, somebody tell me I'm NOT the only FRIGGIN' HARDWARE HOARDER at this website, PUH-LEEZ!!!
#10 x 1 inch sb for rudder fittings
S.C. definitely knows his stuff! But he’s only humanI know this guy S.C. knows his stuff, but I thought my measurements for the rudder hdwe pointed to #12 x 1-1/4" screw.
I knew that you were Clark Kent. And your superpowers have shown themselves on this forum, for sure!Did you know my call sign in the military was Clark? for Clark Kent. Mild mannered. My super powers are making boats out of wood.
I think we lost the OP.
In other work, I use a lot of 3/16" drill bits. As they are mostly 8" long, they will break on occasion. There's one box of titanium drill bits I use as a doorstop, I'm sure there are a few MIA bits where I've snapped the damned things like toothpicks, LOL. I have several boxes of drill bits, but every last one has MIA bits due to breakage... maybe those should be classified as KIA bits, aye?
Check out this stainless mixing bowl I used this morning for the stuffing going into the bird, I actually named this bowl "The Man" because it gets the job done without any spillage, LOL. I set the can o' cranberry jelly next to the bowl so y'all can see how large the bowl actually is, LOL.

Nice bowl, I've had it for years, I wasn't about to leave it when I left Kalifornia, LOL. Back when I used to have a dozen friends or family over for dinner in Coronado, I'd make salad or whatever in this bowl, and it NEVER let me down, it ALWAYS handled the job, no worries. I like "The Man!!!"---all hail "The Man!!!"
Well, I'd better go get cleaned up and turn on the TV, maybe I can pick up some football action with my Roku Streaming Stick. If not, f#% it, the NFL has lost ALL support with their political machinations, 10-4? No way I pay extra either to see a game which I used to watch for free... p!ss on that. LOL...
Y'ALL BE GOOD, AND ENJOY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER, I KNOW I WILL!!! MY STOMACH IS STARTING TO GROWL TOO, IT PROBABLY THINKS MY THROAT HAS BEEN CUT, LOL. I DIDN'T REALLY EAT BREAKFAST TODAY, AS I WANTED TO ENJOY THIS THANKSGIVING MEAL!!! IT SHOULD BE PRETTY DARNED TASTY, THE COOKING AROMAS ARE FANTASTIC, LOL. CHEERS!!!

BTW, I haven’t heard a word about those free rudder parts and am beginning to think that deal was too good to be true. Should it work out, what hardware do you need?
HaHa, nope, I’m not Herb! I don’t think he’s on this forum but I’ve purchased hard to find parts from him.Is he on here, I suppose? Or are you the great one?
