Traveler Knot

hi there, I 've just changed my traveler cord and I don`t know what knot I should use, normally I use a bowline to pass the other end of the cord. Photos or ideas will be appreciated!:D

I do a small bowline loop in one end, then pass the other end through, pull it tight across between the traveller eyes and then put a hitch in around the loop with the free end - that way you get decent leverage when you're trying to load up the tension.

Rather than tying a small bowline in the end of the rope, a large bowline will move the knot further from the centreline and will not interfer with the tiller. Another technique becoming popular is doing the what is shown in the video initially, but making it as tight as the second technique shown (difficult to do, but can be done).
