There are warm feelings :) and some hard-learned lessons :oops: in this short article of Sunfish Class participants:

" we came slowly alongside the dock, one of the boys jumped right in front of the boat. I shoved the tiller hard away to avoid the child, and the boom swung over and hit..."

kind of reminds me of when my brother-in-law jumped off my Sunfish as we pulled up near the shoreline of Lake Michigan... and dumped me in the water backwards. you can't avoid the laws of physics!
