Question on blocks/ratchets??

just recieved 1976 sunfish garage kept .Use to sail many years ago and getting back into it.My question is what's difference in 55mm blocks and 57mm blocks. What's best for sunfish ..and brand ronstan or another...but biggest question is the size difference..thanks for any Help..

55mm and 57mm are essentially the same as they refer to sheave diameter. I use the 57mm/55mm blocks. I have been happy as well with the less expensive Nautos brand blocks. See eBay.

I use a Harken 2135 and really like it. As sailcraftri mentioned, the Nautos are a cheaper option - Intensity Sails has one for $36.
