New Daggerboard Friction Pad

I saw these at APS. Nobody in AU shows them on their sites. Has anyone used one. It's about time they did something about that worthless rubber pad.

I got one of those when they first came out. Didn't fit the existing holes on my boat and when actually fitted did sod all to grip my daggerboard. Have happily gone back to original style friction pad, which as long as set up correctly works fine.

I have one in my toolbox. like Sailorchick it does not fit the original screw holes on my boat.

Others say it fits perfectly though....

they redesigned them to fit in the original holes and work great.

We've put those on all 10 of our Lasers. Quick and easy instal and they work great, especially since you can move them forward as they wear.

I spoke to PSA Australia about the product. After evaluation results were disappointing, they did not import them.
