got it all wrong at the jetty sunday and put a hole in starboard side of hull and a few scratches to the hull and gunwhale.got insurance on boat so looking to get it repaired proffessionally.just wondered what you thoughts were.the repairee is saying he can make a better repair by putting a inspection hatch adjacent to the hole on the foredeck ive seen techniques for repairs carried out from out side the hole is 5 inches by 2 inches in size the cost is 500 pounds sterling which seems expensive to me .would the hatch be to class rules will it effect the integrity of the foredeck will it effect the resale value.this man built and now repairs big boats.should i take to a laser specialist.
