I am worried that the spreaders (or spreader bracket) will get bent when the mast is down like this and I am rigging the boat... This is the maximum travel the spreaders have. Are the spreaders supposed to have more travel? They can not go any more up than you see here in the picture. When the...

I also got my new sails on my 14.2 from SLO sail and canvass. They do fine work. Would recommend.

Thanks will try. Just acquired this boat so it scared me when I rigged it for the 1st time in years and saw the creases. Boat is from 1998 and last time rigged/sailed was 2014.

What would you guys do to get these creases out of my jib? I tried to furl the jib up tight without creases but the sail still kept the creases... (Dont worry, I will not be ironing the sail)

I ended up calling catalina, and ordering a new set. I can get both parts for both sides and shipping to my front door for under $20. They recommended to break the current one with a screw driver and chisel.
