whilst sunfish buried under snow, kept busy with R/C model boat kit...I call it the Geo. W. Washburn Jr. Lite because I left out most of the intricate work haha...im lazy, what can I say...was going for function and durability over delicate detail...is it spring yet??!!
I think 'Light and Variable Winds' is on the right track with an electric impact wrench...any quality unit should do just fine...have used them for various automotive work for years with good results...good luck...(20+ year ASE certified auto tech)

I use the foam blocks I got in a kayak car-top carry kit...they have a nice 'v' shape and are non-slip...I tie the spars/boom down onto them and trailer that way...have had no problems.
