hello everybody i am new to this forum and i would just like to ask one question.
the rope that my traveller slides on is fraying at an alarming rate so i would like to replace it before it breaks on me, could anybody tell me what kind of rope i should use to stop it wearing out so quickly? ( i have only used it for 1 month ) and what diameter rope should i use?
thanks in advance

I always used 3m of 6mm prestretched, used three of them (including the factory-supplied one) in the 15 years I had the boat.... changed them more for the pretty colours than wear, too.

If you have the metal fairleads (standard on all new boats) and that is where the line is fraying, you need to sand down the "edges" of the fairleads (there is very small ridge from the molding process that does a great job of cutting the trav in short order)
