Today I sailed here:

Oneroa Beach waiheke Island.

Of course it didn't look like that today. There were no boats but me out and there was a largish ocean swell, NW 8 - 20kn wind.

The far end of the beach in the pic is where I launch from. That's the western end. The bay faces the ocean and north.

Stay tuned for more exciting locations. I may even take my camera so I don't have to rely on tourist pics from google.
 
Last week I sailed Pamlico Sound off North Carolina's Outer Banks in winds 20 to 30+ half the week. Sweet way to open the season. Planing jibes, a couple of duck jibes and some good jumping. 20 mile downwinder and a sunset/moonlight sail...course I was on my 85 liter shortboard and a 4.5 meter sail.
