Finally getting around to rigging this thing. The bolt is poking into the sail. Am I simply supposed to cut it shorter? Or do I have it on wrong? Wouldn't think it needs to be cut.
It could still be a future threat to "holing" the sail.
I'd cut the bolt "even" to the clamp, and grind or file it smooth. While the clamp can still be moved, keep in mind that the nut then would be difficult to "start" on the bolt in the future.
