traveler fairleads

I have an '03 from Clearwater FL, and I'm having some issues with my traveler fairleads. (I just recently learned what they're called:eek: ) Anyway, they are pulling out of the deck towards the inside of the boat, and digging into the deck on the outside. This has made it almost impossible to keep a traveler line for more than 2 weeks. I am planning on buying new fairleads, etc. and replacing them. Can anyone tell me why this is happening so I can prevent it from happening again in the future?

sounds like they've just come loose, and that is making it worse,gets loose one one side and puts all the pressure on the other

when you get ready to replace em, remove them, clean the area porperly with acetone, and then throw some resin to get it back to normal shape

or just do what I do, take it to a pro repair shop lol
