Electrical work! All that went into making it possible to run my trolling motor. Small battery is good enough for most days, but when going out in challenging conditions doubling the power with a second in series is a good thing

This group's for the single handling aids. With help of tiller tender I'm able to do any kind of sail work underway as needed. Rather than do an expensive roller furling setup, cobbled together a simple downhaul tag line system, just tie the sail off on the deck. Can handle pretty challenging conditions with reefed main only. In light air conditions can tie off the sheet pulley on center to aid pointing. Simple canopy goes over the boom, tied off for those hot, sunny, windless days. Just jump in and relax, like I was doing in this pic! And when it's too windy to sail, power out to a favorite spot and drop your 8 lb mushroom, it holds fine. No need to even bother with the sails. See how the boom kicker and vang provide the stability and control, just like being on a larger boat.

Now for the trailering helpers. Used cleats that were small enough to work without being a nuisance. Dolly allows for pulling boat to store in areas where a car can't go. Don't think it would work as well with the fixed keel Capri, which weighs a lot more. The mast crutch helps with stepping, installing the Baby Bob, and also for easier trailering. And since I'm mostly a single hander, the launch guides are golden!
