hi all
i was wondering what you all would recommend as the correct toe strap setting for someone of a height of about 1 meter 70.
many thanks

One's total height is only a rough guide to this, as it's all about the length of your leg bones and your preferred hiking style. I adjust my strap so that I can hike with my legs almost straight, with the strap about halfway between my toes and ankles, and my knees just a bit closer to the gunwale than to the cockpit edge. I'm 179 cm tall, and I'll measure my strap setting when I get to the club later today.

(BTW, had a rough last weekend racing a Lightning in extremely gusty weather... it's quite a different hiking experience though the position is almost the same.)

Pulling the strap tight to the side, about 15 cm between it and the cockpit rail at the middle screw of the rail. Doesn't touch the cockpit floor when pushed down, but this is for straight-leg hiking.

Stay tuned for a completely different number in two weeks...
