tiller extension

i have just bought a new tiller extension for my laser the only problem is that the tiller has a omni-flex type joint fitted to it and my laser tiller has an old metal swivel thingy..is there any way that i can fit this tiller extension to my tiller ?

Yes, you'll have to remove the metal uni from the tiller
The new uni on your tiller ext should have come with a base which will get screwed/bolted/riveted onto the tiller.
