These were held at my club recently on a very windy weekend. It was blowing about 20 - 25 knots most of the time which is incredibly rare on the river.

I don't know the boat numbers so I'm not sure if you know any of these people. Anyway:

There was a two way tie in the full rigs between Ryan Palk (a first and third, for four points) and Brad Taylor (with two seconds, four points). Ryan wins on a countback with the most number of wins. Third place went to Warren Kerswill.

It was even closer in the Radials with a three way tie between Klade Hauschildt (first and third, 4 points), Steve Geck (third and first, 4 points) and Kerry Waraker (two seconds, 4 points). The first countback also brought up a tie with Steve and Klade recording 1 win each. When this occurs it countbacks to whoever of the two won the most recent race. In this case Steve won the second (which was the last race) and therefore claims the honours.


Hehe, I agree about that photo. Plenty of choc-tops occur in the river on a regular basis!
