Sunfish Trim

Has anyone used anything other then the standard Vinylac for their trim? I dont really want to use aluminum, and the Vinylac seems to be rather expensive.

Can you please clarify what you want to discuss: replacing the aluminium trim with something else, or adding a rubrail over the aluminum trim (which is what the vinylac product does)

I am wanting to add a complete new trim. The aluminum one I had one is gone. It was pretty well trashed when i got the boat.

I'm in the same situation. Any luck getting info on trim alternatives or have you found any of them that would work for the Sunfisf?
