Sunfish Fix Tips

So I am looking to buy a sunfish that I can learn to do repairs and work on. I have a boat already that I use and since I have never done in fiberglass work or anything of that nature I am wanting a boat that I can more or less fix up, but use as a practice so I do screw up the one I have. My question is: Is their any good literature available on fiberglass repair and gel coating and things of that nature that would be of some assistance to me. Thanks for any advice.

There is some literature available for refinishing the bottom of a fiberglass boat.
