STOP uraveling lines

How do you guys go about keeping cut lines from fraying or unraveling. I've done the melt it with a match trick. Works great on some types. I've done whipping too. But what do you do about braided line? For example Spectron 12 doesn't melt very well and is so slippery that whipping pulls off. What about bungee cord?
