So I just bought an old laser...

...and I have a question about painting deck and hull, since the deck has "delaminated" from the hull, I will remove them both apart to fix it properly (and take a look at the leaks in mast-step and centerboard-drum)
now, I've found a nice lacquer (do you say so in english?) and here it is:

it is a dutch made 2 component lacquer, will this be good on a laser? and will this make it class illegal?

Since the others are all ignoring you..
Can I suggest a polyurethane varnish, tougher and better on you the user.
Plenty of varnishes available, get one with a high uv factor. Doesn't really matter what paint it's going over but if you have polyurethane paint the polyester gear will soon lift and flake causing a re-do.
Class legal ? Yeah
Worth it - not really.
You are better off just wet sanding the paint very flat and buffing it to a mirror tbh.

Thank you, pretty nice that it's class legal, and I think it is worth it since the boat is almost brown when it's supposed to be white/creme
