Siezed drain cap

Hi Sunfish People-
My drain cap on the top near the coming is siezed....does anyone have any suggestions to get it open or off? a previous owner has 'stripped' out the screwdriver slot, so nothing fits. All my flat blade screwdrivers just slip right out of the slot...ugh.

Look close at the ring around the plug. You should see 2 pins that need to be driven in (small pin punch or nail punch). Then a heavy duty putty knife can be slipped under the ring and the whole assembly pried out. Replace with a new metal drian plug (about $25) or with a plastic unit ($3-$5) that will need the hole enlarged (Dremel Tool with sanding drum).
