I just aquired a 96 laser and have not rigged one in years...does anyone have the rigging diagram or advice for the old style vang set up?

I remember that there was a way to rig the vang to 15:1 using the old school blocks. Any help would be appreciated

I dont know of any old school ways to make it a 15:1.. I've heard of 10:1 but thats about it.

I have a 6:1 vang rigged with the old style blocks on my boat. It works fine.

It has been so long since I have sailed a laser...i did not realize that you could use blocks now instead of hitches.

That Vangs 8:1, but yes, they do work pretty well.
