Replace hiking bungee

Hello Guys, I need to replace the bungee that holds up the hiking straps. I have a Mod 2 (4300) and so have that beloved tiny cuddy(hopefully replaced one day). Anyone have instructions? I searched the archive, but must be calling it by the wrong name.
 
Are you looking to hold the forward hiking straps up off the deck? I just use a bungee with hooks (24") up to the mast bracket. Has worked well and is a cheap solution if thats what you're looking to do....
 
I understand what you guys are saying, but if I can I would rather her be as close to "stock" as possible without putting in access ports. Not only that, I don't know what is on the other side of the fiberglass. Will I hit air, or a bladder?
