Remove Sail Numbers Before Selling ?

I'm goin' to sell 2 radial and 2 full rig sails. But is-it recommended to remove sail numbers and country letters before selling ? And if yes, how do you remove them ?

I don't see much need to remove the numbers unless you think you will be racing against the person buying them.
