Question About Trailer

Hey,

I'm thinking of buying this trailer and making a customized cradle for my sunfish:

The problem is that the manual reports it is not recommended to be taken beyond 45 miles per hour, and I would need to bring it on the highway at 60mph. However, one website recommended this trailer saying that it "has the larger 12 inch wheels that offer a smoother ride and are better/safer for highway towing" implying that it can be used on the highway.

Should I get it or do I need to find a more highway-compatible trailer? Also, please tell me if you have any better recommendations for a sunfish trailer for under $500.

The HF trailer can be made highway ready. I've done a few. Bigger wheels check, longer tounge check, custom cut chocks check, + a welder to tack it all together. It all adds up. + add in any inspections by your state. Often its a less pita to buy one.

You should check craigslist or ebay for used wave runner or small boat trailers.
I bought a used one, change tires and lights for under $250.00
