She is almost ready to sail again.
I have been working on an pre-1959 wooden Sunfish for the last few weeks. She is almost done.
I call her the "Billie Anne" after my wonderful wife.
I sailed her prior to renovation in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin....home of some great sailors and several times in lakes around Antioch, IL......north of Chicago...next to Wisconsin.
She is great fun! Now she looks a bit better and hopefully leaks less!

Happy sailing!

I once owned a wooden sunfish complete with mahagony coaming and mahagony floor boards. The wooden sunfish is a very pretty boat. I tried to see your pix but couldn't find them in the photo gallery. Perhaps you can direct me to where I can see them. GEORGE

Probably not. It may be your browser, it may be your system, there was a discussion a few weeks ago (Hi Everyone, 07-05-2006) on apple computers using a certain browser (Safari?). I am using IE-6. SF Sailor Yahoo Photo section shows 58 albums. In the meantime try these links; http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/sunfish_sailor/photos/browse/9f0c and http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/sunfish_sailor/photos/browse/cc1e (you may have to copy and paste). If you still have problems, contact Wayne at SF Sailor.

I saw the pix of your boat. Looks great. I used to own a wooden sunfish about 34 years ago. If you wish to make yours authentic, you will want to install mahogany floorboards in the cockpit. Also, the gunwale had a hard white plastic border around the perimeter (where the newer boats have the aluminum) except at the transom rather than the teak trim you installed. NICE WORK GEORGE
