How can you tell what year a Phantom Sunfish was built by the hull number?

I just aquired this boat from a group who had let it sit for 10 years.....
 
There should be a number stamped on the upper right side of the transom. I believe that all manufacturers after 1972 had to follow the same pattern, so if you look up Sunfish serial numbers on the knowledge base, it will show you the pattern. From there you should be able to figure out what year it is.
 
'Technically' there is no such boat as a Phantom Sunfish. A Phantom can be considered a Sunfish clone though; it had some innovations that were later copied by the Sunfish manufacturer.
 
If the hull has a stamp on the transom and the first letterrs are HBY, it's a Phantom. You can post the rest of the numbers here and I can probably tell you when it was made.
