Overstretching hikingpants

I bought a pair of short hiking pants (Rooster Pro with pads). Now I can't get hold of any layering longjohn to wear under for winter warmth that is thinner than 2mm. I have one 3mm neoprene and it works OK.

My question is, do I risk to stretch out my hikers so that they will be too loose to wear by themselves?

I would bet that the probably wouldn't based on the fact that you would be wearing them for a couple of hours normally and the amount of time they would just be sitting at home waiting to be worn would be far higher. So in this time I would think that they would shrink back. I have Zhik hikers and often wear a neilpryde skiff suit under them in the winter and they never stretch.
