The fleet is divided into two divisions...Championship which is the top 60% and the Alcort is the bottom 40%. In the good ole days when a qualification round was performed the top 60% was the Champion and the rest was the Alcort Fleet.
 
There was a lot of whining a year or so ago about the registration fee for the NAs. Thanks to Clinton and his team, this year's fee of $130 for a four-day regatta (five if you count the practice race) including dinner every night and regatta goodies sounds like a very good deal to me. Let's hope it generates a huge turnout.
