Newport RI Summer Racing

It appears that I will be interning at the NUWC in Newport this summer and living at Roger Williams University. I would like to bring my laser if there is a local fleet. I know fleet 413 is very active for frostbiting, but is there anything going on in the summer? If not in Newport, is there a fleet in Bristol? I have tried searching the web and haven't found much. Thanks for the help.

There is a pickup fleet in Bristol that leaves frm Independance Park on Tues nights. It's not formalized racing... but a bunch of us that frostbite during the winter go up there and fool around over the summer. It's a lot of fun and about 5 minutes from RWU. As far as organized racing... I dont know of anythin regular in the East Bay. I know East Greenwich is rumored to have an active summer fleet... but I personally have never checked it out.
