OK, time to sound off. Who's going to this one? I just sent in my registration and I'm getting major excited! It's been about 12 years since I've sailed off that beach and the memories still remain. One primo place to sail!

And what is wrong with the parking - just not enough space? You mean we need to get to the club real early each day?
Any other old geezers going?

thanks

torrid said:It's pretty much as Rob describes. The club is located right on the beach in a scenic area, and the courses are run out in the Atlantic Ocean. However the club itself has a tiny parking lot that isn't really large enough for a big event like this, and there is limited public parking nearby.
Granted when I visited the club it was in August at the peak of the tourist season. In April there will probably be fewer total people around.
Though I haven't been racing much lately I had planned to go to this. I made plans to train and sail all winter in preparation. Here it is with a little over a month to go, and I've had the boat our maybe twice and haven't been exercising, so I think I'm going to pass on attending.
