Mild detergent?

OK, I searched the other threads first, does anyone ever clean their sails, besides rinsing off salt water or removing old sail numbers, and if so, what detergent/soap do you use.

I'm starting to sail some used boats with their preexistant old sails, which are just generally dirty.

Right now I'm planning on using a product called SimpleGreen...

I use Star Brite sail cleaner. It's detergent with some kind of bleach in it. I spread the sail on a clean hard surface, like my driveway, and scrub it with the cleaner and a brush. Rinse and hang to dry on the fence.

In one of the earlier threads someone mentioned Woollite I cannot vouch for it just a tip.
