right only had my laser for 6months so probs me just over worrieing but i noticed last time i capsized that there is a square where the mast foot is, is this common? or is it where its reinforced?

just got me worried because i saw afew posts about it on the forums today

the boat had every thing replaced by laser 4 yrs ago so should i worrie? since then it only been sailed 3 times and then sailing 12 times max since i got her:(
 
If you are talking about noticing the area on the outside of the hull being a little "proud" or raised where the mast base is, that's normal. Some boats are a little fairer then others, but most of them have are visible to see and to the touch
