I just bought a super cheap and 95% complete Capri Omega hull number 1628. What it needs the most is a new centerboard. The old one is rotted in two and hard to tell if it is original. I would like to shape a new one from oak, but don't want to use that one as a pattern. If anyone has a photo or a drawing of their centerboard, that would be great. I am aware that Catalina Direct sells them for $596, but I am trying to get this thing on the water without spending that much. If the family loves to sail, then I will invest for next summer.
