Leak testing

Hi,

I have a '68 I've been bringing back on line.

The last time I used it, the hull filled with water. The two places I think it's leaking is either the dagger board well or the rudder mounts.

Neither have any visable cracks or leakage area.

Does anyone have a technique to check for leaks in these areas, short of putting the hull in the water?

Thanks

Check out the "how to" section of Windline's web site:

If you only have one inspection port, insert the hose and cover the hole about halfway with dut tape. This provides enough bck presseure to test it. DO NOT completely close off the ports as the boat will inflate and could pop loose from the foam blocks!

Good luck...
