Lasers at night

Goin out tonight to clebrate halloween early and plan on sailing the lasers with a group of friends. i know i can place glowsticks on the bow and stern, that easy. And ill have a flashlight and glowsticks on me. Any suggestions on how to attach lights to my mast without damaging my sail?

You could attach a flashlight in some fashion to a clamp like this (I'm thinking duct tape), then clamp it to the mast. People have done similar things for camera mounts.

I've found the most useful light to have is a lil headlamp - $5 at Home Depot or the like should do it. You can spend $30 but I'm not sure of the difference. Like any of the ones on this page.

I got a couple of the $2 lights that clip onto the visor of a ball cap - perfect for night sailing.

I duct tape a flashlight on my mast so that the light goes on the sail as well, as well as a head lamp and a glow stick or two on top of the mast.
