Laser sailors in CT

Im a 16 year old from avon CT and was wondering if anyone sails around here. My whole life I'v sailed at a club in NY, and have my laser there, but I'v wanted to sail in CT for a long time now. Any ideas? thanks

I'm not sure you will find much activity around Avon, but there are two very active frostbite groups south of you, in Cedar Point (Westport) and Essex. They offer different sailing venues (river w/ current at Essex, open water/waves at Cedar Point)

we forstbite in essex in the spring and fall and we also have a club that has informal racing on sundays in the summer. Te frostbitingis done at essex yacht club and we sail at Pettipaug in the summer. Both are on the connecticut river and usually offer some decent sailing.
