Laser leak, bailer closes

Hi, my laser leaks in water when i am out sailing I did the soap bubble test thingy blowing air into the boat with a standard bicycle pump. I couldnt find anything except that my bailer goes from open to closed after some time when i pump some air into the boat. Thus this mean that the problem is in the bailer area? Or do i need to do the test again with a bit more powerful air pumper?

Well, that certainly is a new one. Does the rubber plug come out of the drain hole in your cockpit? if so, it could be the joint where the cockpit drain hole and the mating hole in the hull meet. If it is an older boat, it may still have the POS plastic thru-hull bushing (which has broken) thus causing the leak.

I had a similar problem, but what it actually was, was my bung. The bung itself had rusted because the idiot who owned the boat before me, put steel rivots in to hold the bung in.
