Can someone please tell me where to find the Laser blade hard cases. I have been looking online for them with no sucess. I live in Hawaii and shipping my blades back and fourth creates some damage. please help me out.

Going to be hard since APS doesn't look like they carry them -
The outside dimensions of the APS one are 52" long, 18" wide and 6 inches deep (and the daggerboard just fits, anything less then 52" long will not work) . Try Google with Bow Arrow Hard Case, good luck

The case that APS sold is made by Contico - not sure if they are still in business, but here's their web page showing the case

You might want to call or email them and see if they still make it.

I measured the space you would need for a rectangle style case, you would need one with inside dimensions of 47.5 inches by 16" - that's just for the daggerboard. If the case is high enough, you could stack rudder, tiller etc on top. Don't forget the length of the tiller extension, mine are 48" long.

There is also one on Ebay right now, great price...

I race in Europe during the summer, so I had the same problem. But the solution I found was pretty weird: gun cases. Browning makes a hard case that just fits laser blades (and a 53" tiller extension). It has wheels too, and it's airline approved. I know other companies make similar boxes, but this was the best deal I found.

If you can, find a local gun shop. that carries cases. The problem with most cases is that they are curved, so the blades don't fit all the way. The best thing is to bring your blades to the store and try fitting them. You may have to remove some of the foam lining, but that means you can throw other gear in as well.

Oh yeah, and they don't have animal scenes on the side like the ones APS used to sell
