Laser 115074 - age

Hi guys,

I am going to look at a laser with that sail number this week, it is apparently in good condition and it has full/radial rigs, launch and road trollies.
And it is £1000, is this a good deal?

Also would a laser of that age still be competitive? or is it to old to compete against new boats?

as long as it isnt too heavy (it will be heavier than new boats, unless its been watertight since new) it should still be fairly competitive.
