Just purchased my first used Laser!

Just purchased my first Laser, used, from West Coast Sailing in Portland, OR. They were great to work with. Picking up in a week once I get my storage and transportation situation arranged. Not at all sure about racing as I have really enjoyed solo sailing for relaxation. My Snark Sunflower with 66 sq ft sail has been fun but I need more speed and excitement while sailing. But heck the Sunflower only weighed 55 lbs.

From what I have read in these forums I will be happy to still have my neoprene sailing gear because it sounds like I will get wet a few times. Hopefully none of those accidental full gibes while running downwind that I see on youtube!

congrats on your new laser!

you're right, you'll probably get a little wet even if it's light air,

take into account the wind, waves, water temp when you decide what to wear and you'll be fine
