how much play should the mast hole have

just wanted to know how much play should the mast hole have i can rotate the mast in the mast hole a good bit maby up to a 1/4 inch its not cracked inside or feels loose instide -- should i get a mast retrofit sleeve ( would the mast shrink!!!???)

No worries, mate :); this is normal. Some people put in a sleeve made from the flexible cover of a 3-ring binder (~$2) to protect the mast tube. This was covered earlier on the forum (please use the 'search' function if you need more info).
