Hi all, i was just hoping if someone could point me in the direction of some womens-cut hiking shorts as my standard mens ones are now too big for me and i cant seem to find any on the UK chandlers websites. Alternatively if any women know of 'normal' hiking shorts that suit the female physique that would be great as well
cheers Clare
I wear rooster pros and they are fine for me. If its leg length that is too long for you on standard hikers they do a short version (still 3/4 length just cut a bit shorter in the thigh) which may fit better.
Magic marine do a female hiker but not sure if the cut is different to standard hikers or they just made it pretty colours.

Its not the leg legnth thats the problem for me, seeing as im almost 5'10 but i find them too big on the waist, if they fit well on the legs, yet im not particularly slim
The magic marine ones do look pretty, but white hikers? thats a recipe for looking scruffy in five minutes
I bought a pair of rooster classic hikers last time and have been very dissapointed by how poorly they have lasted seeing as the cost.
Still, thanks for the sugestion
I am the mainland UK importer of SEA gear and I stock a womens cut skiff style suit with removable hiking pads or I stock hikers designed for all with a waist lock system rather than the traditional shoulder straps of normal hikers. Check out my site : www.performancesailsports.com or send me an email if you want to chat more about the suits and what you might require. All the SEA gear is very well made with great attention to detail in the suits.
