Headstay

I just bought 4302 with a roller furling jib.
I would like to switch to a fixed headstay.
I looked through the handbook and tuning guides.
The handbook shows 15' 2 1/4" max lenght.
The North tuning guide says 15' 3 3/4" max length.
Which is correct?

Also, does the running rigging have to be NO LESS than the sizes in the handbook or, can they be smaller and or shorter?

Always follow class rules. Rope lines can be smaller and different length. North base tuning settings are ok but they haven't made a fast sail for the class in a long time. Quantum is the way to go. Scott sails are good too but no tuning guide.
