After many summers using others’ sunfish - from old to new - bought this pre-‘71 waterlogged beauty (with trailer!)
Best I can tell she was sailed hard and put up wet and came in at 190 ish lbs when I picked her up. Down to ~152 in two weeks upside down and covered in plastic.
Looks like she was repainted from orange to red at some point, has at least one holes in the cockpit, coaming is broken/rivets have popped out, and she has two portholes, but she’s ours!
We are planning for a full resto (and likely a rudder conversion?) - would love to seal her up and glass over the portholes at some point, but right now just can’t wait to get started.
