I have been away from the racing for a while due to surgery.
I returned on the weekend forgetting just about everything including all three sails and batterns.
Anyway my old man through me this old sail that looked like it was falling apart, stained and dirty. 1985 or 22 years old from a 123*** (Can't remember the rest of the numbers) number boat. I noticed it had Haarstick written on it, and "computer cut".
I came second on handicap that day and I did'nt even think I was going to start the race.
Anyway the point is a 22 year old sail that looked like it was falling apart worked better than the regular sail that I have been using which is less than one season old. Now I want to compare it to my new sail which I have not used yet. it will be interesting to see.
I'm wondering if Haarstick still makes laser sails in any way.
