Gear Suggestions for Laser Midwinters East? 2011

Well, midwinters is this week and the forecast for Clearwater FL, is calling for lows in the high 50-60's overnight and highs in the 75-78range during the day. The surface temp of the water is apparently going to be in the 60's though (brrr, for someone like me from FL, thats cold!:eek:). any suggestions on what should be worn in these conditions? Thanks in advance! :)

At a minimum, you'll want a shorty wetsuit and a spray top. Having a full wetsuit would be a good idea in case it is cooler or windy.

A drysuit would be overkill.
 
I would take along my hiking pants, a long-sleeved (rash) shirt, and a spray top in case it gets windy or wet. Hiking booties and a hat as well.

And a smile, of course.
 
A layer or two of Merino wool or smartwool is pretty good. Doesn't overheat, not cumbersome and keeps you warm even if it gets wet.
