Forestay shroud connector?

I have a Mod 1 ( newly purchased) and trying to find out if the forestay is connected direct to the bow or with a shroud connector. Currently it is direct but the mast “rake” forward seems excessive. Any advice?

This is the Capri 14.2 forum correct? Let me rephrase the question….Does your forestay use a connector at the bow besides a clevis?? If so what is it and any pictures?
